9月12日，華南首個建筑模子公共文明空間在廣州設計之都設計殿堂開放，社會公眾可免費預約參觀。空間展陳面積超2100平方米，展出超300件建筑模子、圖紙手稿與藝術裝置，以年夜灣區建筑為主，兼顧全球優秀作品，涵蓋從概念到建成的全階段，打造“可走進的建筑百科全書”。
空間創立三個“第一次”：初次將嶺南傳統斯柯達零件“裝進”模子、初次“拆開”呈現建筑圖紙、初次把“微都會”搬進室內。首展設“紀念奧迪零件碑、綠洲、密度、年夜地、連結、嶺南”六年夜主題，嶺南展區展出永慶坊、海心橋等廣州地標微縮模子，現場還有互動親身經歷，參觀者可在數字區用積木搭廣州塔。
該空間由何鏡堂院士團隊設計的設計殿堂承載，何鏡堂與宋春華任學術委員會主席。何鏡堂表現，建筑模子能跨越專業壁壘，助公眾懂得設計，還可記錄時代，成為城市演進的歷史文獻。發起人李暉稱，空間未來將舉辦建筑藝Audi零件術與文明設計活動，以親平易近方法互動。
據悉，廣州設計之都已吸引超300家企業，年產值破800億元；2025年白云區獲“世界綠色設計之都”稱號油氣分離器改良版，該空間進一個步驟助力廣州設計產業發展。
